Electricity Bill

Electricity Bill

-is the amount of Electricity or Power energy consumption that you used plus the amount of different charges. It is usually range up to 30 days or a month before your electric cooperative send you the electric bill. It may be a form of sheet of paper reflecting all the charges.

Your electricity Bill not only includes the amount of the Electricity that you had been used. It is also includes some several fees.

One of this fees are :

1)  Generation charge:

- It is your whole month or days usage of your electricity. It is can be solve as

standard generation rate of you power provider per KW multiply to the power consumption you use in the duration of time.

Generation charge = Rate x Power consumption.

Ex. In our power cooperative their standard rate per KW used is 7.207 Php /Kw so if I am using 89kw in a month.

Generation charge = 7.207 php/kw x 89kw
                           = 641.42 php

so my generation charge is 641.42 php in a month.

2) Transmission Charge

- It is a charge of power company in delivering their power from power source to consumer. Your bill will be base on how much power you used multiply to the standard transmission of power company.

In an earlier example if I had used 89kw in a month and if the standard transmission charge is 0.8076 php /kw

it will

transmission charge = 0.8076 Php/kw x 89kw
                             = 71.8764 or 71.88 Php

3) System Loss

Dont you know that even we dont used those stolen or losses  power energy we are still the one paying on it.

System Loss includes on the power loss due to several reasons

     a) In transmitting power from power producer to consumer there is what you called transmission line loss.

     b) Hytherisis, Eddy current, Iron current, core and Copper Losses it is always happening in transformer.

     c) Unsold power. It is a power energy that over produced by the power provider. Example if the power cooperative buy power from a power plant 600 megawatts and the power cooperative only uses 599megawatts of power. The existing 1 megawatt power will be said the power loss and we as the consumer will pay on it.

     d) Stolen Power - it is done by several consumer, connecting their Electrical wiring or electricity without pursued in an Electric Meter. This consumer did not paying any Generation Charge.

The system loss will be divided equally to all consumer depending on their generation charge.

4) Distribution Revenues it includes the

         a) Distribution network charge
         b) Retail electric service charge
         c) Supply System charge
         d) metering charge

the distribution charge is a charge from the Power Distributor such as power electric cooperative or etc. It is all about charge on how to distribute the power to the consumer correctly including their maintenance.

5) The Government revenues includes
         a) Taxes in every Charged from transmission charge up to distribution charge and etc.
         b) Universal Charge includes
-National Power Cooperative standard Contract cost
                     -electrification of missionaries
                     -Environmental charges

Computing this all charges it will came up that we are paying large amount in which we don't used. I can say it because it reflects on my Electric bill. I only uses 89kw or 641.42 Php in a month so if there are no other big charges just like this losses which I was not used I can only pay almost half of my electric bill.
For 89kw that I had used after the computation including those different charges of our electric cooperative it came up Almost double of what I really used amount of Electricity. My 641.42Php after different charger it became 1,126.52 Php.
In my side it is really not reasonable of paying this Losses that reflects large amount adding on our monthly bill. Why do we have to pay those losses? It is not really our fault having these losses. But we cant change their charges it maybe have bigger reason why they are adding it on us, Now all we can do is let us just save our Electricity so that next month we will have smaller electricity bill.

What is Electricity?

What is Electricity?

What is Electricity? Sometimes we as Electricity consumer we don't know what really electricity is? We just use it but don't understand the what it is or how it came an Electricity? So what is Electricity is the Question. I will site you some meaning of it. And I will also teach you where electricity came from.

So Electricity is a flow of energy from a existing charged. Charged are consist of the electrons and Protons. it might be statistically or dynamically charged.
Electricity was been discovered by Benjamin Franklin. Take note it is not invented it is discovered. Electricity happen in nature, it is already within us since from the start. Benjamin Franklin only made a study how to relate lightning to electricity.

Many studied according to Wikipedia that since 2750BC egyptians already discover electricity that find in an electric fish. They named it as the "protector of all other fish" but it was never been studied until 1600 an English scientist William Gilbert study the electricity and the magnetism.

Electrons are the lightest part of an atom. and also it is the only part of atom that rotates around the atom. also it is the negative charged of an atom

Neutrons are part of an atom that has no charged it is located on the center of nucleus.

Protons are the positive charged of an atom. it is located at the center of atom.

Statistically Charge of electricity it exist in an non movement of source of electricity. Such as Battery solar or Etc.

Dynamically Charge of electricity was form by the use of movement. It might be in dynamo or generator.

Electricity is used in everyday of our life. By the flow of electrons electricity is produced.

In using our several gadgets such as phones, game-boy, PSP,remote control car and some different gadgets using battery is also using electricity.

Battery is producing electricity by the the use of its charged. It is a container of different cell that perform chemical energy transforming to electrical energy.

Battery might be the best strategics invention in storing the energy. In which from the unused chemical it will be transform to a useful electricity or electrical energy.

DC Voltage - Direct Current Voltage / Electricity

DC VOLTAGE- or Direct current voltage

-         Is a Direct current Voltage which has unidirectional flow of charge.
-         It is produced by batteries, thermocouple, solar cells and in such generator.
-         It introduced by a power system that has only one path of voltage and current.
-         It has single polarity, zero-frequency and has constant voltage and current.

There are two types of DC voltage, the dependent voltage and the independent voltage.

Independent voltage is a circuit element that maintains a prescribe voltage across its terminals regardless of current trough it.

That Dependent Voltage is said to be a source of voltage or current at some part of the circuit that determines the voltage across its terminals.

Voltage means Energy per Unit of charge
Formula:
Voltage V= W / Q
W = stands for the energy that use in unit of Joules
Q = stands for the unit of charger in coulombs

Current   is the charge flowing in the circuit in the moment of time.

Current I= Q / t

I = stands for the current
Q = stands for the unit of charger in coulombs
T= stands for the time that a charge flow in seconds.
DC circuits – is a loop of circuits that consist basically of different DC conducting wires. Flows with a DC charge and DC voltage. Some of its composition are, Transistors, resistors, capacitance inductors and Etc...
